Question 1

Why filter by review count as well as rating?

Accepted Answer

Filtering on rating alone ranks a 4.9 from twelve visits above a 4.9 from two thousand. A review-count floor screens out places that have not really been tested.

Question 2

Where do the ratings come from?

Accepted Answer

Google ratings and review counts, refreshed August 23, 2026. Every place links back to its Google listing.

Question 3

Can a business pay to appear or rank higher?

Accepted Answer

No. Rankings come only from customer ratings and review counts.
